Engine of the Year 2009 The surprisingly powerful 1.4
litre TSI Twincharger engine combines the supercharger at low revs
and switches over to the turbocharger for higher revs to deliver
excellent torque while maintaining lower fuel consumption.118kW of
power at 5,800rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500rpm to be exact.
It’s so efficient; it even won the International Engine of the Year
award for 2009 and Best Green Engine 2009. Proving that driving fun
